Ontario SPCA and Humane Society

We’re honored to partner with Ontario SPCA and Humane Society as the animal center helps pets in their province and throughout greater North America.

History

Since 1873, Ontario SPCA and Humane Society (Ontario SPCA) has been going the distance for animal welfare. “We're a provincial organization, so we go where the need is,” Alison Cross, senior director of marketing and communications at Ontario SPCA, said. And the need is real, that’s why the animal center has 12 for-life locations, two spay and neuter clinics and a mobile animal wellness unit that travels throughout the province.

“We advocate for emergency preparedness, and we advocate for being a responsible animal caregiver. Fetch Pet Insurance has that same approach.”

Mission

Through several initiatives, events and partnerships, Ontario SPCA seeks to stop animal cruelty and promote animal welfare. Animal care is at the core of everything the center does. That’s why, on average, the animal center rescues and finds homes for 7,000 animals each year. Ontario SPCA partnered with Fetch to emphasize their mission of advocating for animal emergency preparedness.
